Information Centre privacy statement

When you contact the OPC Information Centre by telephone, email or mail, the OPC will collect certain personal information, including your name, telephone number and email address in order to respond to your enquiry. The information will be provided only to members of our staff who need it for this purpose.

Personal information that you provide to us when you interact with the Information Centre falls under Personal Information Bank 914 Public Communications.

We keep your personal information temporarily to improve your ongoing user experience and Information Centre experience. To help us respond to other members of the public that have similar questions or concerns, the OPC keeps the questions and responses in an anonymous form for future reference. Such information may also be used for statistical, training and quality assurance purposes.

You have the right to refuse to provide your personal information over the phone. Please note that when completing the Information Centre request form, you need to provide at least your email address for us to be able to respond to your enquiry.
