Privacy Commissioner to appear before Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security on Bill S-210

The Privacy Commissioner of Canada, Philippe Dufresne, will appear today before the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security (SECU) to speak to its study of Bill S-210, An Act to restrict young persons’ online access to sexually explicit material.

The Commissioner will be joined by Lara Ives, Executive Director, Policy, Research and Parliamentary Affairs Directorate.
