Commissioner to appear before Parliamentary committee on its study on the federal government’s use of technological tools capable of extracting personal data from mobile devices and computers

The Privacy Commissioner of Canada, Philippe Dufresne, will appear before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics to discuss its study on the Federal government’s use of technological tools capable of extracting personal data from mobile devices and computers.

The Commissioner will be joined by Lara Ives, Executive Director, Policy, Research and Parliamentary Affairs Directorate.
