Tabling of the Privacy Commissioner’s annual report

GATINEAU, QC – The Privacy Commissioner of Canada’s latest annual report is expected to be tabled in Parliament on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at approximately 10 a.m. ET.

The annual report highlights the office’s work on key issues, including investigations, under both the Privacy Act, which applies to the public sector, and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Canada’s federal private sector privacy law.

Immediately after the tabling, the annual report will be available on the Privacy Commissioner’s website at www.priv.gc.ca. We are not in a position to provide advance copies.
