Privacy Commissioner to appear before ETHI to speak about the RCMP’s use of device investigation tools

Privacy Commissioner Philippe Dufresne will appear before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics on Monday, August 8, 2022 to participate in the committee’s study into the RCMP’s use of device investigation tools.   

The Commissioner will be joined by Gregory Smolynec, Deputy Commissioner, Policy and Promotion.
