Privacy Commissioner delivers final annual address at Canada Privacy Symposium 2022 before end of mandate

Privacy Commissioner of Canada Daniel Therrien today delivered his final keynote address at the annual International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Canada Privacy Symposium 2022.

In his remarks, he offered an assessment of the state of privacy in Canada, as well as some personal reflections on the work his office has done over the last eight years, including its efforts to promote the adoption of modern, rights-based privacy laws.
