New Privacy Tech-Know blog: Privacy Enhancing Technologies for Businesses

Privacy-enhancing technologies, or PETs, are increasingly important tools that businesses can use to protect the data they create and collect. There have been a number of significant developments in this field over the last couple of years and today the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada is publishing the first in a couple of blogs to examine some new PETs. Today’s post discusses federated learning and differential privacy, two PETs that are still in the process of being refined and developed for wide-spread use.
