Desjardins breach: Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada to release results of investigations

GATINEAU – The President of Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information, Diane Poitras, and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, Daniel Therrien, will hold a joint news conference to report the findings of their investigations into a security breach at the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec. The two organizations collaborated in the course of their respective investigations into this breach.

Format: Conference call with journalists.

General Information: The findings from the investigations will be posted on the websites of Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada one hour before the call.

The call will be held in French and English. Please note that simultaneous interpretation will not be available.
