RE: Unauthorized Use of Registered Trademarks, Corporate Logos
It has come to our attention that Patronscan is using the logos of the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada on its website, including at https://patronscan.com/ and https://patronscan.com/our-story. You are doing so without lawful authority. Your use of the logos creates a misleading and false impression that some or all of your activities are approved by the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, when they are not.
The logos of the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada are registered trademarks. We hereby demand that you immediately cease your use of, and desist from using, the logos, trademarks and goodwill of the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada on your website and on any other marketing material.
Should you fail to comply immediately, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, and each of them, will seek to enforce compliance with this demand.
