2017 Pathways to Privacy Research Symposium

On October 20, 2016, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) announced that it had awarded funding to organize and host the 2017 Pathways to Privacy Research Symposium to the University of Toronto. The symposium will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Rotman School of Management in Desautels Hall. The theme of the event is “Online Privacy: A Human-Centred Approach” and will explore the values that underlie privacy protection online and examine how these values are furthered or threatened by technological developments.
