Summary
Through the “Connaître et protéger sa vie privée en ligne” project [Understanding and protecting your online privacy], the AJEFO has been working to make online privacy rights and obligations more accessible to the public by creating Canada-wide legal information resources entirely in French. Specifically, the AJEFO has developed legal information articles, plain language infographics, a video vignette, virtual legal information sessions and an educational resource for the general public.
These resources take into account the growth in online activities and growing need to connect to work, consume, study, interact socially, be entertained and even to understand and resolve legal issues. The resources are designed to provide clear, simple and accessible information in French and to empower Canadians to better control and protect their personal information online.
Project deliverables are available in the following language(s)
