Research
The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) generates and funds research to support its efforts to promote and protect privacy rights.
Research gives the OPC the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of privacy issues and trends. The Office uses the resulting knowledge and insights to build a strong foundation for advising Parliament, developing policy positions, conducting investigations and promoting public awareness of privacy issues.
