Reports to Parliament on Canada’s federal privacy laws
The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada’s (OPC) annual reports on the Privacy Act and the Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) are tabled in Parliament. These reports outline the work the Office undertakes in support of its mandate to oversee the two federal privacy acts. The reports include a wealth of statistics and details on privacy trends, investigations and audits.
The OPC may also submit special reports to Parliament to, for example, highlight the findings of a particular investigation or on an important issue.
