Video: Strategic privacy priorities

As Privacy Commissioner of Canada, I am pleased to or share the plan for implementing my strategic priorities.

These priorities will guide the work of my Office in the coming years and are aimed at helping people participate in a digital world without compromising their fundamental right to privacy.

We will maximize our impact by modernizing the way we protect and promote privacy, and by building strong partnerships.

We will address and advocate for privacy in a technology driven era, including the impacts of artificial intelligence. As data fuels innovation, innovation can also protect data.

And we will champion children’s privacy rights.

Together we can create a future where innovations can flourish, and where fundamental privacy rights are upheld.
