Commissioner shares his views on the Study of the breach of personal information involving Cambridge Analytica and Facebook

Today, Privacy Commissioner of Canada, Daniel Therrien, appeared before the Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics (ETHI) on the study of the breach of personal information involving Cambridge Analytica and Facebook.

In his remarks he noted that there is a crisis in the collection and processing of personal information online.
